Abstract

Shrimp farming in Iran is growing rapidly, with new divestments and increased stocking density increasing the risk of a variety of diseases. Regarding the prevalence of white spot disease in Khuzestan, Bushehr, Sistan and Baluchestan and Northern provinces, it is important to know the methods of identification and prevention of this disease. The virus can remain in the farming state and, after appropriate conditions, cause extensive mortality and death in farmed shrimp. Some of the symptoms of the disease include numbness and anorexia, discoloration, swimming at the water surface and the presence of poolside and edge, white spots, shell and carapace loosening, etc. The virus is transmitted in various ways such as infected broodstock, water, equipment used in the fields, all ten endings including crabs, shrimp, lobster and copepoda and especially birds. Biological safety is very important at the time of disease in the surrounding fields and can be effective in infecting the virus, while temperature is one of the most important causes of the disease from latent to active, with temperatures 25 ° C.
